Good day! Quick follow-up to my last post. The team at Fred Hutch says R needs to continue the chemo regimen (outpatient, few side effects) and then, if his body cooperates he’ll get the boost of donor cells in early-ish November. It won’t be another full-on transplant like before—just a bag of cells that go in through his port at the clinic, then, back to our house. His doctor says he may need more chemo after that, but, all in all, he’s in good shape and in good hands. He feels the best he has in a long time.
